Jidenna's debut album titled “The Chief” which was named after his late father’s title status which he intends to attain through his music. 'Bambi' crooner explained that it is the reason his songs have a blend of different cultural sounds especially the high-life blend with Hip-hop so that all can relate to it. Jidenna said that his music, lyrics, sounds and collaborations are all geared towards building a bridge between people, races and nations. His song Sufi Woman had longtime fans going gaga, while numerous critics took him to task for incorporating too many messages into the project. So he is pushing the album and his brand harder round the world. This Summer, Jidenna dropped his second full-length solo album, 85 to Africa, via Wondaland and Epic Records. Jidenna told us on One on One chat that “The Chief” album is his project to the world.
